Reporting to the CEO, the Policy Manager provides timely, accurate and persuasive advice and research, underpinned by analysis, environmental understanding and stakeholder consultation.
The role helps drive and represent the research and policy activities of the Committee for Adelaide, underpinning and enhancing our reputation as a highly regarded and respected advocacy organisation.
The candidate will demonstrate skills and interest in researching, analysing and interpreting a broad range of literature and data. Demonstrate high level of written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to research, compile and prepare and present reports, submissions and documents. Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and networks. Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing projects efficiently and to a high standard.
As well as a deep understanding of local, state and national political environments and knowledge of contemporary issues facing cities and communities.
