Who we are

We are the independent voice for South Australia helping shape a more prosperous future.

A community of businesses and organisations, we facilitate and lead policy debate and run projects and programs to drive economic, social and cultural growth.

We believe that governments can’t and shouldn’t have to solve every issue; that business and community groups have an essential role to play.

Our vision for Adelaide is the world’s first well city: an extraordinary, sustainable and vibrant place that people from all over the world want to be a part of while those who live here are proud to call home.

A-political, open, diverse and independent, we’re harnessing the expertise, experience, networks and resources of our members and partners to realise this vision.

Our work is based on three pillars:

  • Sustainability for our People
  • Sustainability for our Places
  • Sustainability for our Economy

And driven by:

  • New leadership
  • Diverse and progressive ideas

Founded in 2013, we are part of the Committee for Cities and Regions Network and abide by their guiding principles.

The Committee for Adelaide has endorsed the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, with our work supporting a number of them, from promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth, to ensuring access to affordable, reliable and sustainable modern energy. Click here for more information and the full list of goals
