The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are the world’s largest theory of change. With only 6 years left until 2030, and less than 15% of the SDGs on track, there is a need for businesses to move forward, faster. SA ZERO recognises the need for collaboration at all levels in order to achieve a rapid and just transition, which is why we supported the UN Global Compact Network Australia and ResourceCo at their networking of sustainability leaders at the SA Museum on 29 February.
Our SA ZERO Program Lead, Michelle Howie, spoke about how our cluster has identified challenges and opportunities to move forward faster, together, as the state’s only public-private-academia collaboration for accelerating zero carbon, zero waste in South Australia.
