The world needs to halve its carbon footprint this decade and reach net zero emissions by 2050. To achieve this, we will need to drastically reduce our global emissions and sequester the remaining emissions through nature-based solutions and innovations.
SA ZERO in partnership with Flinders University presents a discussion on the ‘Green Skills’ needed to accelerate the pathway to net-zero, and the ways and opportunities industry, government and education can work together to close green skill gaps and explore pathways to green jobs, now and into the future.
Hear from special guest, Commissioner Cameron Baker, Chair of the South Australian Skills Commission as well as other representatives from Flinders University, TAFE SA, RAA, Department for Environment and Water and Department for Education. Further organisations and speakers to be announced.
The morning will include networking over a light morning tea, expert presentations, Q&A panels of SA ZERO members and partners as well as a Green Skills Workshop Breakout Session, designed to support you and your business, wherever you are on your sustainability journey.
