We are delighted to welcome Australia Day Council of South Australia (ADCSA) as a bronze member of the Committee for Adelaide.

ADCSA celebrates our identity and the values that unite us, illuminates the achievements of inspirational Australians, places reconciliation at the centre of all it does and promotes a welcoming and inclusive society.

Major events run throughout the year include the Australian of the Year and The Citizen of the Year Awards, The Australian of the Year Luncheon and Inspiring Women Impacting the World series.

CEO Jan Chorley says the Council brings people together all year long in meaningful dialogue to deepen our understanding of our nation and celebrate our values and stories.

“Our focus will continue to be the stories of our nation commencing with our First Nations peoples, our migrant and refugee stories and our ancestral connection to our cultural heritage. We have a big story to tell and we are keen to reflect back to one another our rich and dynamic experiences and to deepen the opportunities for communities to engage in all that we are doing,” she said.
