New member – KBR

Welcoming KBR as a Platinum member of the Committee for Adelaide.

KBR‘s Adelaide team delivers some of South Australia’s most significant, city-shaping projects, including the nuclear-powered submarine construction yard at Osborne, the New Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Client Partner with SA Water for the delivery of their Capital Program and Metro Growth. From major water infrastructure projects to world-class hospitals and schools, we lead complex projects across transport, water, defence, buildings, energy and resources sectors.

Located at 30 Pirie Street in the heart of the CBD, KBR Adelaide is home to over 380 employees, including those who work from customer and partner offices. With specialist expertise spanning nuclear, systems and engineering sciences, fire safety engineering, environment, and project management, the office brings together multidisciplinary teams that support projects across South Australia and nationally.

“For more than 65 years, KBR has supported the delivery of some of Australia’s most ambitious infrastructure projects, including the Adelaide to Darwin Railway, the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Carrapateena  Copper and Gold mine. Now, as South Australia enters a new phase of growth, with major developments planned across infrastructure, defence, transport, water and energy, we are ready to continue building SA. Joining the Committee for Adelaide gives us the opportunity to work alongside government and industry leaders, contribute to conversations about the state’s future, and help champion the initiatives that will strengthen Adelaide’s economy and communities for years to come.” – Natalie Papaioannou, Operations Manager SA, KBR
