What does meaningful inclusion look like in practice?
Participants in the fourth session of our Future Leaders Program explored this question with Dr Amelie Burgess, Senior Lecturer in the College of Business and Law’s School of Marketing at Adelaide University.
Through research, real-world examples and interactive activities, the session moved beyond diversity as a demographic checklist. Participants examined how diversity influences representation, products, services, workplace experiences and organisational decision-making.
The session encouraged our future leaders to challenge assumptions, consider the conditions that support genuine inclusion and recognise the influence they can have as agents of change.
Thank you to Dr Burgess for an engaging and practical session, which gave participants useful frameworks to help create more inclusive decisions within their organisations.
Our Future Leaders Program is delivered in partnership with Adelaide University Learning Futures.
