Following on from our event earlier this month where we explored how South Australia is positioned regarding the electric vehicle transition, Committee for Adelaide stakeholders have been invited to participate in the state government’s Electric Vehicle Fleet Pledge program aimed at helping fleets transition to electric vehicles.
Funded and administered by the Department for Energy and Mining (DEM), the objective of the program is to foster a business network that shares a commitment to transform its fleets to zero emission electric vehicles, encouraging like-minded organisations to move together to integrate electric vehicles, where they are cost-effective and fit-for-purpose.
The program will celebrate leadership, foster knowledge development and exchange, and provide driving and operating experiences with electric vehicles.
With an anticipated launch of late October 2021, DEM aims to partner with local industry, government, and peak bodies to deliver the program.
If you would like the opportunity to help shape the program please register your interest with the Department by emailing Vicki Koster, Industry Development Officer, at Vicki.Koster@sa.gov.au by Friday 1 October.
