We have convened our first Policy Focus Group for 2022 which is tasked with exploring the challenges facing members regarding talent attraction and retention and the opportunities to address skills shortages for local businesses and growth industries.

Initial meetings have included a briefing from Michael O’Neil from SA Centre for Economic Studies who provided an overview of the population and retention challenges that we face and a discussion with Renee Hindmarsh, SA Skills Commissioner, who spoke about her role, how this impacts business, and potential areas for future collaboration.
