Welcoming ICAM as a Corporate member of the Committee for Adelaide.
Inheritance Capital Asset Management (ICAM) is a South Australian based alternative investments fund manager which was formed as a start-up entity here in Adelaide in 2015. It was founded by Managing Director Freddy Bartlett who is a majority equity owner in the business along with its inaugural Chairman Jim Hazel and their share register includes businessman Rob Chapman, Michael Ruggiero and Andrew Veitch as well as Duxton Capital Australia, and senior ICAM staff members Antonio Calabrese and Jane Petrie.
The company sources equity and debt investor capital from within its networks to invest in off-market investment opportunities which ICAM finds, establishes and actively manages in Property and Infrastructure assets; ICAM thereby creates investment funds for high net worth investors, family offices and institutional groups. ICAM owns a variety of assets in Adelaide including the 91 King William St Office tower, Churchill Centre North Shopping Centre, Bunnings, Ikea and various Industrial warehouses as well as Retirement Villages and two of South Australia’s recently built ports.
ICAM regards itself as a socially responsible business, and chooses to donate a percentage of profits to charitable organisations, with a focus on the future of our next generation including children in need, as well as local economic research and the local arts sector.
“ICAM is an example of a start-up venture in Adelaide which was formed and owned by local individuals in the financial services sector and has attracted capital locally, interstate and overseas. We now manage an excess of $500M in assets under management, all of which has been invested in Adelaide to date, and we continue to have a significant pipeline of attractive future investment opportunities. We strongly believe in investing locally within our vibrant and thriving State and we are proud to be able to partner with Committee for Adelaide in the great work they are doing to foster strength and prosperity across every sector and community in our beautiful city,” Freddy Bartlett, Managing Director, ICAM.
