In partnership with the University of Adelaide, we held our first event as part of our Emerging Leaders’ Network series for 2023, which is targeted at the future leaders and change makers in our member organisations.
We heard from Dr Jessica Gallagher, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Engagement) at the University of Adelaide, who spoke about the pathways the University are creating to make sure students are job ready.
Our guest speaker for the event was Sam Messina, Co-Founder and CEO of Ortomi Robotics, a company dedicated to improving the lives of people with anxiety and mental illness. Sam is also the University of Adelaide’s Chief Student Entrepreneur, the first role of its kind in South Australia.
It was great to hear about Sam’s entrepreneurial journey, one that sees his products used across 30 countries around the world, all from a base in Adelaide.
Guests then had the chance to connect with other like-minded future leaders from diverse industries, to build new connections in a comfortable setting.
This series is all about giving these emerging leaders a chance to broaden their network while hearing from some of the most accomplished and inspiring leaders in our community.
