Adelaide Connected Networking Event with Sanaa

It was great to kick off our first Adelaide Connected networking event of the year in conjunction with Associate member Sanaa’s exhibition, which is showcasing the diverse experiences of artists from Africa and South Australia’s multicultural communities.

We heard from Sanaa Founder Victoria Lewis, Sanaa Board Member Stephen Tongun, and Ugandan artist in resident Charlene Komuntale, whose work is central to the current exhibition.

We would like to thank our event Wine Partner Seppeltsfield, Beer Partner Coopers, and non alcoholic beverage partner POLKA for their support in delivering this event.

The Sanaa Exhibition will run till 6 April, while Sanaa Festival also returns to Light Square on Saturday 25 February. It will be a family friendly celebration of music, culture and food. Showcasing local South Australian and interstate musical talent from the emerging and global music communities, alongside hiphop and poetry workshops, live mural painting and arts and fashion stalls.

Adelaide Connected networking events are intended for people who have recently moved to South Australia (arrows) or recently returned to South Australia (boomerangs). It is a chance to meet with likeminded people, learn something new, and build your local network.
