Insight Roundtable: Fostering Innovation & Risk Taking

In 2025 the Committee for Adelaide will set out to facilitate a series of ‘Insight Roundtables’. Our first focus area was ‘Fostering Innovation & Risk Taking’ – an issue that is critical to boosting productivity and unlocking the economic complexity and investment potential of South Australia and requires cooperative effort across all sectors. 

Emerging Leaders Future Series: Vertical Development and Career Design

This particular Emerging Leaders event will be facilitated by Taryn Sexton, Director, Top Branch Consulting and focus on ‘Vertical Development and Career Design’ and be held on Tuesday 21 October 2025. It will also include a special lunch with the Patron of the Committee for Adelaide, Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC Governor of South Australia.

Strengthening SA and UK ties and making the most of AUKUS

On 27 February, the Committee for Adelaide had the privilege of hosting Her Excellency Vicki Treadell CMG, MVO, British High Commissioner to Australia, alongside a Matt Opie, Defence SA Chief Executive and  Greg Parkinson, Director, Infrastructure & Procurement Advisory, Turner & Townsend, for an exclusive and insightful lunch.

SA ZERO: Green Skills Forum

SA ZERO in partnership with Flinders University presented a discussion on the ‘Green Skills’ needed to accelerate the pathway to net-zero, and the ways and opportunities industry, government and education can work together to close green skill gaps and explore pathways to green jobs, now and into the future.
