On 17 November we held an event in partnership with Commercial & General and The Hospital Research Foundation Group on Changing health and patient care through research translation, disruptive technologies and innovation.

We were joined by an expert panel including Paul Flynn, CEO The Hospital Research Foundation Group, Associate Professor Michael Penniment AM, Senior Radiation Oncologist, Department of Radiation Oncology, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Dr Johan Verjans, Deputy Director, Medical Machine Learning, Australian Institute for Machine Learning, University of Adelaide and Wendy Keech, CEO, Health Translation SA about leading edge proton therapy, how machine learning can help deliver healthcare and how we can ensure that research gets put into practice.
