Our 2025 Emerging Leaders ‘Future Series’ in partnership with the University of Adelaide and Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) continued with a session on ‘Emotional Intelligence in the Digital Age’ facilitated by Dr Nathan Jones, Founder of the Mood Institute.

Participants were provided with an insightful introduction into AEQ – the Authentic Emotional Quotient, an evolution of traditional EQ that adds the one thing technology can’t fake: the art of fully feeling. The session explored what it means to be authentically human in the digital age and offered practical tips for our future leaders to understand and regulate their own emotional patterns, strengthen motivation and social connection in digital settings, create psychological safety through authentic expression and apply emotional intelligence in practical, digitally fluent ways.
