I wanted to let you know that I have regrettably accepted formal notice of Jodie van Deventer’s resignation as the Chief Executive Officer of the Committee for Adelaide, with her last day of employment scheduled for Wednesday 30 June 2021.

While very sorry to see Jodie leaving us, I very much respect and welcome her integrity and commitment in providing us with such a long notice period and recognise her view that she wanted to allow the February Board planning session to take place with all information at hand, and for meaningful resource planning to occur.

By June, it will be close to five years that Jodie has led the organisation, through three chairs and four boards, and we will recognise and celebrate her efforts at the appropriate time.

The board is now in discussions about what a replacement process may look like and we’ll keep you updated.
