Skilled migration is integral to our state’s economic recovery and we need a migration system, based on an overarching population strategy, to support our efforts to attract workers to Adelaide.

Local businesses are struggling to fill gaps in the labour market, particularly in regional areas, and more could be done at the federal level to attract and retain workers.

Recently, we made a submission to the Joint Standing Committee on Migration to highlight the issues.
