Welcoming Kudos Services as an Associate Member of the Committee for Adelaide, nominated by Platinum member Beyond Bank.
Kudos is Australia’s first employee-controlled mutual enterprise spun out of the public sector, delivering high-quality early childhood and therapy services to people living with disability. Their vision is to help children, young people, adults and their families or caregivers feel empowered, enabling them to achieve positive outcomes and be able to live their best lives.
Kudos is proudly the National Disability Insurance Agency’s Partner in the Community delivering early childhood (EC) services for South Australian children (aged 0 to 6) and their families or caregivers. They also run a community-based therapy service, with a multi-disciplinary team providing therapeutic interventions, specialist support coordination and positive behaviour support services to South Australian children (aged 7+), young people and adults living with disability.
“At Kudos, we are proud to say we are building something special. We are a non-profit employee-controlled mutual enterprise, owned by South Australians – our very own employees – that provides high-quality disability services to the South Australian community.
The fact that we function with an innovative employee-owned culture and governance structure, gives us a unique perspective to contribute to shaping SA’s disability sector and the future of Greater Adelaide. Joining the Committee for Adelaide community is, naturally, a very valuable step for us within this journey,” Darrin Johnson, CEO, Kudos Services.
