New member – McGregor Tan

Welcoming new member McGregor Tan as a Corporate member of the Committee for Adelaide.

As a South Australian business operating for over 43 years, McGregor Tan has enormous passion for innovation in South Australia and takes pride in delivering quality, insightful and meaningful research that makes a difference to organisations and the community.

Over the past four decades, McGregor Tan has grown to be the largest independent market research company in South Australia and has worked with a broad client base ranging from OTR, CIBO, Stratco, IKEA, SAHMRI, Foodland, SA Water, and RAA to local and state Government departments; in fact, we have delivered more than 100 market and social research projects in the past 12 months alone.

With data being so important in today’s world, the collection and handling of that data is imperative. McGregor Tan is ISO20252-accredited and adheres to the Australian Data and Insights Association’s Privacy Principles, the Research Society’s Code of Professional Behaviour (formerly AMSRS), and ESOMAR’s International Code of Marketing and Social Research Practice and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

With a wealth of experience in the research industry, a passionate and knowledgeable team, the largest online panel of South Australian residents, and an in-house field team to undertake face-to-face and CATI (telephone) interviews, we strive to answer the ‘what’, ‘so what’ and ‘what now’ of every research question.

“We are proud to lead McGregor Tan and feel that Adelaide is the perfect place for our home base. With the fast pace of big data, UX, CX, AI, and the underlying principles of consumer psychology, it takes agile thinking, a level and mature mindset and an environment that supports ideas, growth and connection; that is what we have found with the Committee for Adelaide and in South Australia,” Jaclyn Thorne, Director.
