New member – Netball South Australia

Welcoming Netball South Australia as a Not-For-Profit member of the Committee for Adelaide.

Netball South Australia exists to enrich lives, enhance communities and inspire generations and is proudly the number one team sport for women and girls in South Australia. Across the state, Netball South Australia holds a large footprint with 35,000 participants, consisting of 35 affiliated associations, 340 clubs, eight regional academies, one metropolitan academy and a range of development programs for coaches and umpires.

Netball South Australia also owns and operates the licence for the Adelaide Thunderbirds, competing in the Suncorp Super Netball, widely regarded as the world’s best netball competition. With back-to-back premiership success in 2023 and 2024, the Adelaide Thunderbirds have again qualified for the Grand Final in 2026 and will look to cap off a successful year in which they broke the clubs record for most in-season wins.

“As a proud South Australian organisation, we are excited to join the Committee for Adelaide through which we can connect, share and help build on our mission to enrich lives, enhance communities and inspire generations.” – Bronwyn Klei, Chief Executive Officer, Netball South Australia
