New member:  SA Circus Centre – Home of Cirkidz

Welcoming our newest member SA Circus Centre – Home of Cirkidz.

Known as the home of contemporary circus in South Australia, this dynamic not-for-profit contemporary circus enterprise began its life in 1985 working with disadvantaged youth in the inner west of Adelaide. Over three decades of community engagement and artistic practice, they have proven that contemporary circus changes lives, builds communities, creates jobs and stimulates economies.

“As the new Chair of SA Circus Centre – Home of Cirkidz I have been thinking about how we might enable ourselves to better contribute to the life of South Australia and extend what is a youth focused brand and company to stand beside some of our more traditional arts bodies and explore the possibilities. The Committee of Adelaide will be a great way to do this – and more,” said Jane Mussared.
