Today, we were proud to support two of our valued not-for-profit members, Catherine House Inc and Hutt St Centre.
The day began with a Supporter Tour of Catherine House, where we gained a deeper understanding of the vital role South Australia’s only homelessness and recovery service for women plays in our community. Hearing directly from women whose lives have been transformed through Catherine House’s support was a powerful reminder of the impact these services have. We also learned more about the organisation’s exciting new purpose-built facility, currently under construction, which will expand access to life-changing support for more women.
We then joined the lunchtime crowd at East End Cellars Vardon Avenue for the iconic Soup Kitchen. For just $20, we enjoyed a delicious soup created by a local chef, with all proceeds supporting the important work of Catherine House and Hutt St Centre.
Thank you to everyone involved in making the day possible and for the incredible work you do to support South Australians experiencing homelessness and hardship. Together, we can help build a stronger, more compassionate Adelaide.
