Welcoming Naomi Marsh to the Committee for Adelaide as our new Strategy and Programs Manager.
A passionate advocate for Adelaide, Naomi is an experienced strategic advisor who is highly skilled in corporate strategy, communications, marketing, media, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, policy creation, advocacy, and government relations.
She joins the Committee for Adelaide from the South Australian Chamber of Mines & Energy where her role as Director, Strategic Policy Communications spanned topics ranging from the energy transition, workforce and skills, economic contribution, and the promotion of the State’s resources sector. During her time at SACOME, Naomi led a number of campaigns including ‘Resources. But not as you know it’ and ‘Resourceful SA’.
Prior to SACOME, Naomi held various senior roles with the City of Adelaide including Executive Manager / Chief of Staff to the previous Lord Mayor Sandy Verschoor, Senior Communications Advisor, Media Manager and Senior Media Advisor, City Experience Manager and Team Leader, Marketing Projects. She led and was involved in several city-shaping projects and campaigns including the City Brand, the ‘Good Evening, Adelaide’ night-time economy strategy, Ten Gigabit Adelaide, the Central Market Arcade Redevelopment, tourism and visitor services, and numerous City Experience projects and promotional campaigns.
Naomi holds a Bachelor of Media from the University of Adelaide. She is a proud Mum to two children, Orla and Myles and when she is not running the kids around to Little Athletics and netball, she enjoys catching up with friends and enjoying Adelaide’s beaches, food and wine.
