In our last member survey, one of the key priorities that members wanted the Committee for Adelaide to focus on was South Australia’s brand narrative. Our members firmly believe that there’s a narrative that needs to be consistent and align with who we are as a state today and for our future.
We established a Brand Focus Group in August, Chaired by Will Fuller, Managing Director of Fuller Brand Communication. As a result of the work to date, we felt the need to bring together key stakeholders to discuss their campaign strategies to attract people to South Australia, from tourism through to investment and attraction to live and work here. We heard from:
- Erik de Roos – Executive Director, Marketing, South Australian Tourism Commission
- Alison Lloydd-Wright – Executive Director, Department of Premier and Cabinet
- Ian Hill – Managing Director, Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA)
- Melissa Librandi – Managing Director SA, News Corp
It was great to hear their perspectives and how, as a collective, they are working together to make South Australia a destination for all.
The Brand Focus Group will now take the learnings from this discussion and work towards some clear outcomes from their findings.
