The Committee for Adelaide, in partnership with Flinders University, invites you to the launch of Flinders University’s inaugural Wicked Problems Report.
The Wicked Problems Report is a major national study that highlights the most pressing issues facing Australians today—cost-of-living pressures, housing affordability, crime and safety, healthcare access, and environmental concerns.
With insights drawn from over 30,000 participants across the country, the report offers a powerful snapshot of the complex challenges confronting communities. For South Australia—and particularly Greater Adelaide—these findings provide a critical lens through which to understand and address local needs.
The Committee for Adelaide welcomes this evidence-based approach, recognising the report’s potential to inform regional policy, planning, and collaboration. It will be a valuable tool for shaping practical, research-driven solutions that align with our shared goals for a more inclusive, prosperous, and resilient Adelaide.
The event will feature a summary of key national findings, with a spotlight on South Australia. A panel discussion will follow, featuring speakers from Flinders University, Government, Industry, and the Not-for-Profit sectors. Together, they will explore the context behind the report’s findings and potential responses to the top issues identified.
Please note that this a member event and invites have been sent.
