Flinders’ Wicked Problems Report

The Committee for Adelaide was proud to partner with Flinders University to present their inaugural Wicked Problems Report – a national study highlighting the most pressing issues Australians face today.

Drawing on insights from over 30,000 participants, the report offers a deep dive into the challenges facing Australians including cost-of-living pressures, housing affordability, healthcare access, crime and safety, and environmental concerns. For South Australia, these findings provide important context to help shape informed, practical responses to local needs.

The evening featured a presentation of key national and South Australian findings, followed by a panel discussion exploring how we can collectively respond to the issues that matter most to our communities.

A big thank you to our speakers Naomi Marsh, Committee for Adelaide, Professor Raymond Chan, Flinders University, Michelle McKay, Adelaide PHN, David Reynolds, Department for Housing and Urban Development and Greg Pattinson, Foodbank.

And thank you to Hentley Farm for supporting this important conversation.
