The Committee for Adelaide, in partnership with Flinders University, the Jeff Bleich Centre for Democracy and Disruptive Technologies, and major series partner Hays, is proud to launch the 2026 Democracy Series.
A thought-leadership program for members exploring how democracies can thrive in a rapidly changing world shaped by technological, social, and geopolitical disruption.
The inaugural lecture will feature Dr Rodrigo Praino, Professor of Politics and Public Policy and Director of the Jeff Bleich Centre, who will provide a global “lay of the land,” examining uncertainty, impacts on democratic institutions, and the current geopolitical outlook, with a particular focus on South Australia.
This series brings together academics, business leaders, policymakers, and community voices to foster evidence-based discussions on strengthening democratic values and institutions.
Attendees will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding, build connections, and contribute to shaping South Australia’s future.
Join us for this inaugural lecture and be part of the conversation shaping the future of democracy in South Australia.
