At the AGM, the board committed to the establishment of working groups in 2024 to enable greater participation in setting the policy position and agenda for the Committee. These working groups will act as steering committees reporting into the Committee on topics such as future workforce requirements, attracting and retaining talent and solving the housing crisis. Click here to find out more about the proposed steering committees and if you are interested in participating, please email Albert. Further information on the steering committees will be provided early in the New Year.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank retiring Board members Nicola Craven and Morna Young for their service. As volunteers of the Committee for Adelaide’s board, we recognise and value the support that you have generously provided throughout your terms, as the Committee for Adelaide has transitioned and grown.
I would also like to express my gratitude to our Chair Raymond Spenser and the entire board for their support, and the team for the tremendous amount of work achieved throughout the year.
Finally, I would like to acknowledge the Committee for Adelaide members. Everything that the Committee has achieved to date is directly correlated to you, because without the support of our members, we would not be unable to do what we do.
Regards,
Sam Dighton
Chief Executive
