The Committee for Adelaide hosted a special opportunity for our members on 15 September 2026 to personally thank Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia for her distinguished service to South Australia.

Ahead of the conclusion of her five-year term as Governor, Committee for Adelaide members gathered in the beautiful International Rose Garden at Adelaide Botanic Garden to reflect on Her Excellency’s leadership and enduring contribution to our city and state.

Her Excellency shared many highlights from her term, which she has undertaken alongside her husband, Mr Rod Bunten, with a deep commitment to South Australia and its people.

As Patron of the Committee for Adelaide, Her Excellency has been a generous supporter of our work and our vision for a more prosperous, vibrant and connected Adelaide and South Australia. For that support, we are sincerely grateful.
