Workforce needs: International Talent & Skilled Migration

The Committee for Adelaide, through its Adelaide Connected program, will host, in partnership with Thomson Geer, a session focused on international talent and skilled migration in South Australia.

Employers from industry and government are encouraged to join us as we explore the important role international and skilled migration will play in South Australia’s future and the practical pathways for employers, industry, and government to strengthen our state’s workforce.

Together, we will unpack common myths and highlight the opportunities for employers when it comes to attracting and retaining international talent.

This session will provide a valuable overview from the Department of State Development on South Australia’s migration program and employer sponsorship pathways, while helping industry better understand the benefits, importance and accessibility of employing international talent.

In this session we will hear from Mirsia Bunjaku,CEO, Australian Migrant Resource Centre and Sonya Paterson, Manager, Migrant Attraction and Connection Skilled and Business Migration, Department of State Development, with additional speakers from industry to be announced.

Please note that this is a member event. If you would like to join please contact info@committeeforadelaide.org.au.

Adelaide Connected is proudly delivered by the Committee for Adelaide, with the support of a grant from the Department of State Development’s, ‘Skilled Migration Talent and Industry Connection Program’.

We acknowledge the continued support of our Annual Partners, Adelaide University and BHP, whose contributions make these important conversations possible.
